Gymnastics

Here's a picture of Hope on her first day of gymnastics a few weeks ago. She loves it. It has been so great for us so far, she gets to run, jump, crawl, stretch, do somersaults, balance and even slide for 50 whole minutes, and Anna and I get to chat with the mamas and siblings.

We watched some youtube clips of olympic gymnasts yesterday and Hope was mesmerized. She asked "How did they do that?" I promptly said I had no idea, but that God had given them talent and they work hard. I think she could have watched them all day.

She's growing up. Slowly but surely.

A cherished mommy moment happened yesterday at gymnastics: Lately Hope has learned how to say "I love you" in sign language. So, as I was watching her through the windows, she looked over at me twice and flashed me the "I love you" sign with a big smile. These little girls melt my heart multiple times a day, but this one might stay with me a bit longer.
