Last Thursday, January 20th, all four of us sat excitedly in the Dr.'s office waiting to find out what gender our new little baby is. It seems that the ultrasound tech usually checks a bizillion things (which I am thankful for, mind you) before they get to the gender area. And then, she said, "looks like you have another little girl!" Then the Dr. came in and confirmed the technician's thoughts that it was a girl. I guess our little girl wasn't being shy or lady-like.
We all had smiles on our faces for quite a while. 3 girls! What fun girlie times we will have. And what a softy Mark will become! The teenage years may be filled with a lot of ups and downs (and seasoned parents have told us we have no idea... very encouraging, I know :), but we're praying they'll be filled with much blessing as well as we get to watch our little girls grow up to be God-fearing, loving and serving women.
But for now, we will enjoy all of the dress-up clothes, baby doll dressing (and undressing), baking, thinking mommy and daddy are the greatest, crafting, finger nail painting, nursery playing, friend-loving, passionate and dramatic moments that make up our little girls.
We're looking forward to May 27th!!!
Here's some recent pictures of the big girls :)

Wow. What sweet, beautiful little girls. God gives us beauty in a lot of different forms, but I can't think of anything better than my house full of beautiful girls.
I was just thinking about how Paul would sure have his hands full with all of these little sisters :) I agree with what Mark said--what beauty and sweetness!
