Sweet Little Anna is Eight Months

Today, Anna turned 8 months old. She is currently working on her 5th tooth, sitting pretty well, and eating every baby food imaginable. Tonight she tried broccoli for the first time and ate it like it was cake. She's even pulled herself forward on her belly a few times. She's an easy smile, and seems to fall more in love with her sister every day. She's a mama's girl which I'm more than okay with 95% of the time (although I would like to be able to leave her in the nursery for an entire service without being called to get her :). Most people say she looks a lot like her Daddy. She's pretty predictable and patient - unless a pesky tooth is bothering her. We're having a great first summer with Anna, and are thoroughly enjoying her babyhood. It is, of course, going by waaaayyyy tooooooo fast.

I took some pictures of her yesterday, and here they are.

Looking at her hand.

We love you sweet little Anna! We love all of the fun that you've added to the Rogers family.

We moved into our new rental house last week and we are still working on getting things unpacked and organized. We love it, and are very thankful. Here's a couple of recent pictures of our sweeties.

I love them.

I Want To Be Like This When I'm Dying

I'd seen this amazing talk recommended in several places on the web, but hadn't listened to it until tonight. Grab a tissue (or two) and listen to a 37 year old mother of two, who is dying of terminal cancer (she actually died last week) talk about why "Death is Not Dying." It really is more than worth your time.
